Cookie Policy
Effective date: January 11, 2026
This Cookie Policy explains what cookies are, how SERPsKit.com uses them, and how you can control them. I keep things simple and privacy-friendly. Right now, I’m not running ad tracking pixels or complicated analytics setups.
If you have questions, you can contact me at serpskit@gmail.com.
1) What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device (phone/computer/tablet) when you visit a website. They help websites work properly, remember basic preferences, and improve performance.
Cookies don’t give me access to your device, and they aren’t harmful by themselves.
2) Why SERPsKit uses cookies
SERPsKit may use cookies to:
- Make the site work properly (basic functionality)
- Improve performance (speed and user experience)
- Understand traffic and usage (what pages people visit, what’s useful, what isn’t)
- Prevent spam and abuse (security tools may use cookies)
- Remember your preferences (if the site uses settings like language, consent choices, etc.)
3) Cookies used for speed
I use the WP Fastest Cache plugin to improve page speed and performance. Caching plugins may use cookies or cookie-like rules to manage how cached pages are served.
This can include behavior such as:
- serving a cached version of a page to visitors for faster loading,
- bypassing cache for logged-in users (so admins see the latest changes),
- handling special cases based on settings (example: mobile cache or excluded pages).
Important note: The exact cookie name and behavior can vary depending on your plugin settings and version. In many cases, caching works without placing a noticeable cookie for normal visitors—but cache-related cookies may be used when needed for correct page delivery.
4) Third-party cookies
Sometimes a page may include embedded content like:
- YouTube/Vimeo videos
- Google Maps embeds
- Social media embeds
If you interact with that embedded content, those third-party platforms may set their own cookies. Those cookies are controlled by the third party, not by SERPsKit.
5) How to control or delete cookies
You can control cookies in two ways:
A) Browser settings
Most browsers allow you to:
- see what cookies are stored,
- delete cookies,
- block cookies completely,
- block third-party cookies,
- clear cookies when you close the browser.
Blocking cookies may affect site functionality (especially forms or embedded tools).
B) Opting out of analytics
If SERPsKit uses analytics tools, some providers offer opt-out options. You can also reduce tracking by using browser privacy settings or extensions.
6) Updates to this Cookie Policy
I may update this Cookie Policy if I add/remove tools, plugins, or tracking technologies. When I update it, I’ll change the “Effective date” at the top of this page.
7) Contact
