Refund Policy

Effective date: January 11, 2026

At SERPsKit.com, I provide SEO, niche blog, and WordPress services based on your specific needs. Since I’m not selling fixed-price packages right now, every project is scoped and priced individually.

This Refund Policy explains how refunds work for custom, value-based services. If you have any questions, contact me at serpskit@gmail.com.

1) Custom pricing and project scope

Because pricing depends on the service value, time, and complexity, I usually confirm these before starting:

  • the scope of work (what I will do)
  • the timeline
  • payment structure (full, partial upfront, milestone-based, or after completion—depending on the job)

Once both sides agree, the project starts based on that scope.

2) When refunds may apply

Refunds are considered only in fair situations, such as:

  • Work has not started after payment (and no time/resources were reserved or delivered)
  • A duplicate payment was made by mistake
  • A project is cancelled early, and some paid work has not been completed or delivered (refund may be partial)

If any work has already been delivered (audit notes, research files, completed tasks, fixes applied, content delivered, etc.), refund eligibility becomes limited because time and deliverables can’t be “returned.”

3) When refunds do not apply

Refunds are not available in these situations:

  • You change your mind after work has started
  • You don’t provide required access, information, or approvals, and the project gets delayed or paused
  • You are unhappy with results based on expectations that weren’t agreed in writing (example: “I expected #1 rankings”)
  • You request a refund because of ranking/traffic changes caused by:
    • Google updates
    • competitor activity
    • niche demand shifts
    • hosting issues or site changes made by others
  • Completed work has already been delivered (even if you decide not to use it)

SEO is not a guaranteed outcome service. I focus on best practices and clean execution, but no one can control Google.

4) Deposits and reserved time (important)

For some projects, I may require a deposit or partial upfront payment to reserve time and begin work.

  • If I have already started the project, deposits are usually non-refundable.
  • If work has not started and no deliverable has been created, I may refund the deposit (minus transaction fees, if any).

5) Partial refunds (how it’s calculated)

If a refund is approved after the project begins, it will usually be a partial refund, based on:

  • time already spent,
  • tasks already completed,
  • any delivered documents/files,
  • any changes already implemented on your site.

In simple terms: you can only be refunded for the unpaid portion of work not yet completed.

6) Chargebacks and disputes

If there’s an issue, please email me first at serpskit@gmail.com so I can resolve it quickly.

Unfair chargebacks (after work has been delivered) may result in:

  • project termination,
  • removal of access to deliverables where applicable,
  • dispute evidence being submitted (communications, timestamps, files, delivered work).

7) How to request a refund

To request a refund, email serpskit@gmail.com with:

  • your name
  • payment date
  • service/project name (or summary)
  • reason for the request

I’ll review your request and reply as soon as possible with the decision and next steps.

8) Updates to this policy

This Refund Policy may be updated as my services evolve (for example, if I later offer fixed packages). The effective date at the top will be updated when changes are made.
