Amazon Affiliate Kit – Amazon Affiliate WordPress Plugin

Amazon Affiliate Kit is a WordPress plugin that gives you four Gutenberg blocks built specifically for Amazon affiliate content, product comparison tables, single product showcases, pros & cons boxes, and specification tables, with built-in audience scoring, manual or API-powered affiliate links, and a centralized dashboard to control every visual detail.

What It Does

I built Amazon Affiliate Kit to solve a problem I kept running into: creating professional-looking Amazon affiliate content in WordPress without relying on shortcodes, page builders, or bloated multipurpose plugins. Every block in this plugin is designed for one thing, helping you publish product-focused content that looks clean, loads fast, and gives your readers the information they need to make a purchase decision.

You get four blocks. Each one works directly inside the WordPress block editor. No shortcodes to memorize. No separate builder interface. You add a block, fill in the product details, and publish. The output is responsive HTML — no JavaScript frameworks, no render-blocking scripts on the frontend.

The Four Blocks in the Amazon Affiliate WordPress Plugin

1. Product Comparison Table

A side-by-side product table with images, titles, prices, audience score bars, affiliate links, color-coded badges, and custom specification rows. Supports unlimited products with automatic pagination when you exceed the per-page limit. Each product displays a serial number, an optional label badge (like “Best Overall” or “Best Value”), and a date stamp showing when the data was last updated. Everything from header colors to column widths to affiliate link text is configurable from the dashboard. I have created a full comparison table about 8 wireless gaming mouse (as a example), and I shared that table below.

2. Single Product block

A featured product card split 50/50, image on the left, product details on the right. Includes the product title, price, an audience score box with hover tooltip, an optional label badge over the image, and up to two call-to-action buttons (e.g., “Buy on Amazon” and “Buy on Backcountry”). The image links directly to your affiliate URL. Button colors, height, border radius, and hover color are all adjustable from the dashboard. I have created a singe product block (as a example) about Corsair NIGHTSWORD RGB Gaming Mouse, and I shared that block below.

3. Pros & Cons block

Pros & Cons A two-column layout for listing product advantages and disadvantages. The left column shows pros with a green + icon. The right column shows cons with a red − icon. Icons appear automatically — you just type the text. Items can be reordered, added, or removed directly in the editor. Background colors, icon colors, icon sizes, font sizes, and border styles are all customizable. I have created a pros & cons block (as a example), and I shared that block below.

4. Specifications block

A clean two-column table for listing product specs. A dark heading bar labeled “SPECIFICATIONS” sits at the top. Each row has a spec name on the left (bold, gray background) and a value on the right. Add as many rows as you need. Reorder or delete them in the editor. Column widths, colors, and font weights are configurable from the dashboard. I have created a specifications block (as a example), and I shared that block below.

Key Features of this WordPress Amazon Affiliate Plugin

Audience Score System

This is not a simple “type a number” score field. You enter the Amazon star rating distribution — the percentage of 5-star, 4-star, 3-star, 2-star, and 1-star reviews plus the total review count. The plugin calculates a weighted average and converts it to a score out of 100. On the frontend, hovering over the score bar or score box reveals a detailed tooltip showing the full star breakdown, weighted average, review count, and a score position indicator on a gradient bar. This works identically to how major review sites present audience ratings.

Manual Data Entry for Everything

Every field — product title, price, image, affiliate link, and audience score — can be entered manually. You are never dependent on an external API to use this plugin. Upload your own product images for better SEO control. Paste your own affiliate links with your Associate Tag. Enter prices and ratings by hand. The plugin works completely offline from Amazon’s systems.

Optional Amazon PA-API 5.0 Integration

If you have Amazon PA-API access, the plugin can auto-fetch product prices, star ratings, review counts, and generate affiliate links from a 10-character ASIN. Enter the ASIN, click Fetch, and the data fills in. Fetched data is cached (configurable from 1 to 72 hours) to stay within API rate limits. If the API is unavailable, manual entry continues to work without interruption.

Centralized Dashboard

Five settings tabs — Amazon API, Comparison Table, Single Product, Pros & Cons, and Specifications. Every visual element is customizable: heading colors, border colors, font sizes, font weights, text colors, button backgrounds, button hover colors, button padding, button border radius, column widths, icon sizes, icon colors, and more. Saving one tab does not affect the others.

Color-Coded Badges

Five badge styles — Green, Blue, Amber, Red, and Gray — available in comparison table specification cells. Use them to visually distinguish ratings, categories, or feature tiers across products.

Automatic Date Stamps

The comparison table automatically records the date each product was added or last updated, displayed alongside the price. Your readers see exactly how current the information is.

Comparison Table Pagination

Add more products than the per-page limit and pagination links appear automatically — “← Previous | Next →” — so the table stays clean regardless of how many products you compare.

Responsive Design

All four blocks adapt to screen size. Comparison tables scroll horizontally on mobile. Single product cards stack vertically. Pros & cons columns stack. Specifications tables remain readable. No separate mobile configuration needed.

Lightweight

CSS and JavaScript load only on pages that contain the plugin’s blocks. Pages without blocks load zero additional assets. No jQuery dependency on the frontend. No render-blocking scripts.

License-Based Activation

Three tiers: One Site, Five Sites, and Ten Sites. Activate and deactivate from the WordPress dashboard. Move your license between sites freely by deactivating first.
