What It Does

I built this plugin because pricing table plugins either look generic or need a page builder to change a button color. I needed different layouts for different projects. A clean blue table for one site. A Black Friday promo with dark backgrounds for another. A quantity slider for bulk service pricing on a third. No single plugin handled all of these.

SERPsKit Pricing Table is one block with eight designs. Insert it, pick a design, customize everything from the sidebar. No shortcodes. No separate settings page. Every element is controllable per block, per plan, per feature. The table inherits your theme’s font, fits your content width, and stacks on mobile.

The Eight Designs

1. Shape Top + CTA

Three columns with a colored shape bar at the top. Plan name, subtitle, monthly/yearly price with switchable suffix, “Get Started” button, features with icons, and a “More details” CTA at the bottom. The toggle switches both price and suffix text (e.g., “per year” to “lifetime”).

2. License Sizes

Three columns with a “Choose License Size” dropdown and billing toggle. Define sizes (1 Website, 3 Websites, etc.) and set per-plan prices for each. Visitors select a size and billing period, all prices update instantly. Supports strike-through prices and info lines. Built for selling plugins, themes, or per-site licensed products.

3. Black Friday

Three columns on dark backgrounds with a bundled promo image, editable “BIG CHOICE & CRAZY DISCOUNTS” tagline, circular “BIG SALE” badge, and percentage text. Outlined white buttons. Promo section toggles on/off per plan. All text and colors customizable.

4. Quantity Slider

Three columns with a draggable horizontal slider above the cards. Define quantity stops (5, 10, 25, 50) with per-plan prices at each stop. A floating tooltip follows the thumb showing “10 Guest Posts” or whatever label you set. Prices update live as the visitor drags. Built for service businesses with variable-quantity packages.

5. Clean Blue

Three columns, minimal white and blue color scheme. Monthly/yearly toggle. Solid buttons. No strike-through prices, no info lines. Plan name, subtitle, price, features, button. Clean and professional without visual complexity.

6. Navy

Three columns inside a single unified card with no gaps. Dark navy highlighted column with green accent button. Button sits above the features list (reversed layout). Suits premium brand pages with density and contrast.

7. 4-Column

Variable 2, 3, or 4 columns inside an outer container card. Triangular “Most Liked” corner ribbon. Features listed before price (reversed order). Full-width buttons. Built for agencies and businesses with four or more tiers.

8. 2-Column Split

Two columns (40/60 width). Solid blue cards with pill-shaped plan name. Two separate feature columns per card for wider layouts. Rounded “Subscribe Now” button with configurable arrow icon. Pill badges (“MOST POPULAR”, “MOST VALUE”) in the top-right corner. Built for membership sites and two-tier pricing.

Key Features

• Full Sidebar Customization: Every element is customizable from the block editor sidebar. Plan names, prices, buttons, features, icons, colors, font sizes, shadow, padding, gaps, corner radius, backgrounds. No CSS needed.

• Corner Ribbon (Design 7): Triangular ribbon in the top-right. Custom text and color per plan.

I built this plugin because I needed a clean, fast way to add tables to my content without installing a heavy page builder or relying on shortcodes. Most table plugins either do too much or look outdated. I wanted something that does one thing well: tables that look professional, load fast, and work on any screen size.

Why I Built Another Table Plugin

If you search for the best table plugin for WordPress, you will find dozens of options. Some are packed with features you will never use. Some require a premium license just to change a background color. And some load three JavaScript libraries on every page whether you have a table or not.

I did not need a spreadsheet inside WordPress. I needed a table that works natively in the block editor, outputs clean semantic HTML, and gives me control over styling without writing CSS. That is what SERPsKit SEOTable does. Learn how to use it:

What You Get

SERPsKit SEOTable is a single Gutenberg block. You add it to any post or page, set the number of columns and rows, and start entering data. Everything happens inside the WordPress editor. No separate interface. No shortcode to paste.

Here is what the plugin includes:

1. Table block: Create tables with as many columns and rows as you need. There is no limit. Each cell supports plain text, and you can mark any cell as bold or add a badge.
2. Five badge colors: Green, blue, amber, red, and gray. Use them to highlight ratings, categories, or status indicators across your table. Each badge has a distinct background and text color combination designed for readability.
3. Row hover effect: When a visitor moves their mouse over a table row, the background color shifts slightly. This is a small detail that makes dense tables easier to scan. The hover color is customizable from the dashboard.
4. Alternating row colors: Even and odd rows use different background shades by default. This improves readability on long tables. Both colors are adjustable.
5. Dashboard settings: A dedicated settings page lets you control the table heading background color, heading font size and weight, cell border size and color, data font size and color, row background colors (even, odd, and hover), and the name/title cell color. Changes apply to every SEOTable block across your site.
6. Theme font inheritance: The plugin does not force its own font. Tables use whatever font your WordPress theme defines. This means your tables always match the rest of your content.
7. Mobile responsive: On small screens, the table container scrolls horizontally with smooth touch support. No content is hidden or collapsed. Your visitors see the full table on any device.
8. Convert existing tables: If you already have a WordPress default table block, you can transform it into a SEOTable block with one click. Select the core table, open the block toolbar, and choose “Transform to SEOTable.” Your data carries over automatically.
9. Lightweight: The plugin loads CSS only on pages that contain a SEOTable block. No JavaScript is loaded on the frontend at all. The hover effect uses pure CSS. Pages without tables load zero additional assets from this plugin.

How It Works in Practice

Let me walk through a typical use case. Say you are writing a product roundup comparing five wireless earbuds. And you want to show the brand, price, battery life, noise cancellation rating, and your verdict for each product.

You open your post in the WordPress editor, click the block inserter, and search for “SEOTable.” You set 5 columns and 5 rows. The first row becomes your product images or names. Each subsequent row is a specification. You type your data directly into the cells.

For the noise cancellation rating, you select a green badge for “Excellent,” an amber badge for “Good,” and a gray badge for “Basic.” These visual cues let your readers scan the table quickly without reading every cell.

You save the post. On the frontend, the table renders as a clean HTML table with alternating row backgrounds, a colored header, and subtle hover effects. On mobile, it scrolls smoothly. The whole thing loads in milliseconds because there is no JavaScript overhead.

What It Does Not Do

This is not a spreadsheet plugin. It does not do formulas, sorting, filtering, or data import from CSV files. And it does not have a drag-and-drop visual builder. It is a Gutenberg table block with clean styling and a settings dashboard. If you need advanced data manipulation, this is not the right tool.

Technical Details

SERPsKit SEOTable requires WordPress 5.8 or higher and PHP 7.4 or higher. It uses the Gutenberg block editor exclusively. The Classic Editor is not supported. The plugin is compatible with any theme that supports the block editor.

Tables are stored as block attributes in your post content. There is no custom database table. If you deactivate the plugin, your table data remains in the post and restores when you reactivate.

SERPsKit SEOTable is available for free on WordPress.org. Install it from your WordPress dashboard under Plugins, search for “SERPsKit SEOTable,” and activate. The settings page appears under the SEOTable menu in your admin sidebar.

A featured product card split 50/50, image on the left, product details on the right. Includes the product title, price, an audience score box with hover tooltip, an optional label badge over the image, and up to two call-to-action buttons (e.g., “Buy on Amazon” and “Buy on Backcountry”). The image links directly to your affiliate URL. Button colors, height, border radius, and hover color are all adjustable from the dashboard. 3. Pros & Cons block

Pros & Cons A two-column layout for listing product advantages and disadvantages. The left column shows pros with a green + icon. The right column shows cons with a red − icon. Icons appear automatically — you just type the text. Items can be reordered, added, or removed directly in the editor. Background colors, icon colors, icon sizes, font sizes, and border styles are all customizable. I have created a pros & cons block (as a example), and I shared that block below.

4. Specifications block

A clean two-column table for listing product specs. A dark heading bar labeled “SPECIFICATIONS” sits at the top. Each row has a spec name on the left (bold, gray background) and a value on the right. Add as many rows as you need. Reorder or delete them in the editor. Column widths, colors, and font weights are configurable from the dashboard. I have created a specifications block (as a example), and I shared that block below.

Audience Score System

This is not a simple “type a number” score field. You enter the Amazon star rating distribution — the percentage of 5-star, 4-star, 3-star, 2-star, and 1-star reviews plus the total review count. The plugin calculates a weighted average and converts it to a score out of 100. On the frontend, hovering over the score bar or score box reveals a detailed tooltip showing the full star breakdown, weighted average, review count, and a score position indicator on a gradient bar. This works identically to how major review sites present audience ratings.

Manual Data Entry for Everything

Every field — product title, price, image, affiliate link, and audience score — can be entered manually. You are never dependent on an external API to use this plugin. Upload your own product images for better SEO control. Paste your own affiliate links with your Associate Tag. Enter prices and ratings by hand. The plugin works completely offline from Amazon’s systems.

Optional Amazon PA-API 5.0 Integration

If you have Amazon PA-API access, the plugin can auto-fetch product prices, star ratings, review counts, and generate affiliate links from a 10-character ASIN. Enter the ASIN, click Fetch, and the data fills in. Fetched data is cached (configurable from 1 to 72 hours) to stay within API rate limits. If the API is unavailable, manual entry continues to work without interruption.

Centralized Dashboard

Five settings tabs — Amazon API, Comparison Table, Single Product, Pros & Cons, and Specifications. Every visual element is customizable: heading colors, border colors, font sizes, font weights, text colors, button backgrounds, button hover colors, button padding, button border radius, column widths, icon sizes, icon colors, and more. Saving one tab does not affect the others.

Color-Coded Badges

Five badge styles — Green, Blue, Amber, Red, and Gray — available in comparison table specification cells. Use them to visually distinguish ratings, categories, or feature tiers across products.

Automatic Date Stamps

The comparison table automatically records the date each product was added or last updated, displayed alongside the price. Your readers see exactly how current the information is.

Comparison Table Pagination

Add more products than the per-page limit and pagination links appear automatically — “← Previous | Next →” — so the table stays clean regardless of how many products you compare.

Responsive Design

All four blocks adapt to screen size. Comparison tables scroll horizontally on mobile. Single product cards stack vertically. Pros & cons columns stack. Specifications tables remain readable. No separate mobile configuration needed.

Lightweight

CSS and JavaScript load only on pages that contain the plugin’s blocks. Pages without blocks load zero additional assets. No jQuery dependency on the frontend. No render-blocking scripts.

License-Based Activation

Three tiers: One Site, Five Sites, and Ten Sites. Activate and deactivate from the WordPress dashboard. Move your license between sites freely by deactivating first.
